swapping '93 3.4 to '96 3.1

I'm contemplating swapping engines and need some good advise. The '93 cutty conv I have is wrecked, just rebuilt the 3.4. The '96 has 138K on it and a rod knock that scares me! Was needing advise about OBD1 to OBD2 swaps? Electrical stuff can bog me down! Any advise is welcome, and thanks!!!

Welcome to AF. Assuming the bolt in is possible between the subframes, the trans must be swapped also as well as all the wiring and pcm, exhaust is different, not a good plan here. Plus if your state does emission testing, you fail.
