Help W/ Xenon bulbs

Ok I have heard Xenon gas bulbs are really bright. The only thing is i had someone tell that you have to check wattage onetime he got some and they melted his headlight assembly....what kind should i get?

Check if you have a relay first. Those who have melted their headlight assembly don't even have relay on them. My friend did that when he first got his xenon--melted his headlight, but good thing not too much damage was made.
