I love how car commercials have the best songs thes days. you cant even hear anything good on the radio anymore. i heard the song "Home" by Great Northern on this Nissan commercial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xv3Pjicfsr8
it took me a minute to find out who it was (lots of youtube searches)

Hm...Ford Edge's "Miles and Miles" ended up being a pretty awesome song, f you're into that genre. Can't recall any recently, don't watch too many commercials as of late.
I loved Mitsubishi's commcercials though when the 3rd gen Eclipses were outthey used Dirty Vegas and The Wiseguys.

The older Kleenex commercial where everyone is spilling their guts to some guy on a couch in the middle of the street. It is "Let it Out" by Starrfadu. I love that song! Took me a long time to find it! Yahoo Answers is usually a great place to find these things!

The Ting Tings are crap. All their songs are crap, they are so terminally annoying.

That's a pretty good song, some odd lyrics though.
Lots of commercials have good songs in them now, luckily for UK adverts, there are websites that list the songs in adverts.

I have an excellent website that I found about 5 years ago that you can search for the title of the song that appears in a commercial. It's www.adtunes.com . It is a forum where people ask for a title of a song for a certain commercial they've seen and then other people reply with the answer(s).
EDIT: Here is the direct link to the specific forum that has the info on the songs:http://adtunes.com/forums/index.php?showforum=26 . You don't have to register to look through all the threads. On the home page if you click on the link "Forums" you can also find music that was in tv shows, movies including the trailers, and video games.
