GM medallion information wanted.

Could anyone shed some insight on a "General Motors builds its first 50 million cars" medallions?

I tried searching and I found the car and information about the car but that's not what I'm looking for.

I'd like to know how many of the medallions were made, how you got them, value, etc...Thanks!

Moms boyfriend works for the railroad company. He found it lying beside the track.

We couldn't really find much information about it anywhere.

The back side of the coin has tha 55 chevy on it. It's pretty neat, I think. Especially since he just found it lying around.

That's just awesome... That thing must be crazy rare cause I've never seen or heard of one before...

I'd say its worth about $7.50 lol.

i was just looking at some of those coins on ebay and i found it kind of interesting that there are a few different variations. A few say "made by fisher" a few other have the bel-air on them and some others have a different car
