Arcade to Computer

Just played the game in the arcade and it rocks! Is it every going to come out on the computer or ps2 or other gaming console?

dunno...havn't played it though....would be cool if it came out on ps2 and then u could race other people online

yes its out on the PS2 but so far only in Japan, no word on weather or not it will be released in US.

Special Stage it even has a story mode how freaking cool

I just played it two days ago at boomers.. Oh its the best game in the world!!!!!!!!!!! but it god damn expensive..

The game is addictive - only thing is how do you get your initial D card???

after you put your money in, a screen comes up and asks if you got a card. if you do, insert the card, if not, press start to skip. then another screen comes up and asks if youd like to buy a card, then put in another dollar to buy a card, at the end of the games it will eject the card out.

Hey clint. I live in boca. I didnt kno that they had teh initial D there till lie monday. I played it at the boomers in hollywood. The game is soo addicting.. U get a card? im up to "kyle" dont understand why they had to change teh names. Still awesome game too.. My friend now works at boomers, he gets half off on token s:) :) :) :) so now if i go when hes there.. i get half off.. yay

i love and hate that game
i played it and never really looked how much money i spent in it and when i was done it was somewhere over $25 in less than 2 hours
but it was all worth it :D

so.. You got to pay to play.. :D
Who is already playing Version 2?

Ive been playing ver. 2 for a while now. I got an FD Spirit(dont use it, dont like it), Altezza SXE10(my fav and most used car), an EVO III(really want the misfire) and Buntas WRX. Buntas WRX is a cheat and its fully tuned. You only get oil changes.
I hate DC2's in ver. 2! Everyone has them and there damn unbeatable!

In Version 1.. there is a trend of getting FD and AE86 Treuno..
Now in Version 2, everyone is switching to DC2. haha...
Also.. in my area.. people are getting the Bunta's WRX ( Cheat ) just because it is Bunta's car and they thought it is good...
I don't believe in this though..

I sure hope for a PC version or that the arcade ps2 versions get emulated some day.. but pc version first :P

hm.... the normal not bunta's version wrx is so GAY in ver 2... it was ok in ver 2.... thats the only reason i use bunta's car... it's not gay!! it's just a copy of ver 1's normal wrx

o... sry... well neway... u still play intial d?? i need sum serious help wit expert 2 i don't no which turns theres a jump or not.. so i crash rite into a turn and stop

the jumps are pretty simple to figure out. About half way down the course you come to that mild left turn with the leaves on the inside that leads to a straight, that right after the straight you can cut a little more to the inside without hitting the wall, then I believe you go make the sharp left, sharp right, and then on the next couple sharp turns you can cut on the inside and jump, i believe there are 4 of them. they are the really compressed sharp turns. Once you find the first one you will know where im talking about.
