intrax spring install questions

ok so i installed the spring on the rear today, and the front tomm. that front im also installingthe kyb shocks. anywho, does it matter what way the spring goes in?? cuz one end has more coils then the other, plus, it looks taller nd has way more coils then the stock one. should that be?? thanks yall
