Hello
my grand am is making a crunching noise when I put the window down and up and just yesterday it will not go back up you can hear the motor trying and grinding and some times jamming. I was told something about these little plastic tabs that break. Can anyone help me out with this
much appreciated Thanks in advance

All Grand Am's are notorious for the window motors, i've had to replace the driver side already and i have to replace the front passenger side, and rear-right passenger side

Welcome to AF dre900.
Yes regulator troubles are common amoung N bodies in general, could be various things going wrong too, not just those lift clips/tabs .
Here is a link that shows how to disassemble the door/window.

You can find regulators on the internet for a reasonable price, those clips/tabs are pricey, dealer part if I remember correctly.
Ok the part number for the sash clips is # 22689012 both 2 & 4 door models.
Dealer part is $8.17 each, then you also need an epoxy sutable for glass.
If this is the problem....
