Test Drive

I test drove the Evo8 and i have to say DAMN!!
this car pulls like nobodys busness. Took it up to 110 mph and i could still go...but the dealer peed his pants so i stopped. My friend is buying his tomorrow.

I cant wait for the STi to compare and spank the Evo8 :)

so u are a die hard subaru fan. yeah the specs dor the sti sound pretty sweet.

let you take it to 130 they probally band your ass from from the dealership

that says 30k where did you get 50k?

look on the right edge, "additional markup: $20,000, dealer asking price: $50,812"

i read today a dealer in santa monica wants $58,000 for theirs :bloated:

i heard that it cost like 37k

MSRP is like $27,000 base, but then you add dealer markup.

all it takes is one person dumb anough to pay $50-$60,000 for one, then all mitsu dealers will think they can get away with it.

well my friend went to go get his today...when it came in it was 30,062.00 then they added 7000.00 for alarm(2000.00) synthetic oil change for as long as u have the car(2000.00) Sunroof(780.00) keyless entry(400.00) and there was a car protection(2000.00) which i asked what that was and they said if u spill on the interior or scratch the paint they will come fix it or replace it.

after all was said and done they wanted 6500.00 down and 748.00 a month for 5 years...thats 44880.00 not including the 6500.00 down all together my friend said hell no

i wonder if people actually pay that much?

some guy on nasioc.com said he get an EVO, said they wanted $50,000 but he got a good deal and talked them down to $40,000. yeah $10,000 over MSRP, thats a good deal alright :rolleyes: he got made fun of for that one. :p

whell we allknow the sti is the bargain of the century.. hell for 48k i'll have a zo6 then use the 2k to mod it CAN YOU SAY 1.02 G'S, 71 SLALOM AND EASY 11'S FROM A CAR THATCAN BE PUT BACK TO STOCK IN NO TIME LOOKS KILLER AND MATURE AND CAN BE FURTHURE MODED TO 10 WITH AN UNBLIEVABLE TRACK TIME

dude, chill. nobody was talking about the srt4 OR the sti here... or the spec v for that matter. what are you like 13 years old?

and yeah, the srt4 would beat a wrx. but it's the wrong thread completely.

Sorry but anyone who would pay 40,000 for an evo 8 is crazy. There are way better cars out there for that much imo...

the evo 8 is 30k, but it's like the wrx.

if you want it that bad, you'll pay that extra money.

i'd just be patient and wait it out...
