impossible to remove cd player

I cannot figure out how to remove the cd player in my 1997 maxima. :runaround: I have broken some of the plastic plate in front of the stereo trying to get at the bolts which may or may not be holding the the unit itself in place. The only way to get a veiw of the stereo unit to get it out would be to remove the entire leather like front interior or break out the face plate (which would only allow very limited visibility. Has anyone else encountered this same problem? If so what have you done in order to solve it? Thanks for the help.

its actually pretty easy.....look at the picture...the red is where u put a screw driver and pop those panaels out. and green is for where the screws are to hold the climate control and deck.....then there is going to be 2 screw on each side holding the palyer hope this help......http://img504.imageshack.us/img504/6528/cdeg2.jpg
