Loudest Stereo system ever!

If i had 8 grand id buy it just because of the fact that 85 montes are 5 grand themselves and this one is customized from bumper to bumper, its a money maker for someone with money. It is a show winner. or i should say it would be a show winner if it didnt have that nasty wing. That made resale value go 1k down...in the end if you got the money you can make a few grand off of it just because of the fact that system is probably 4 itself and put that 4 and the 5 for any normal ss hey you are already making 1 grand and thats not even including any other mods that are done

:rolleyes: That aint shit dude... Not even close to loudest. Try 8 13" W7's 4 12" W7's and 2 10" W7's for a grand total of 14 W7's in an suv I saw in san francisco... The guys windows had rubber rings that allowd them to flex up to 4 1/2".... He said that the escalade was in the 300 class... As in OVER 300 DB's... All of the 13" W7's got 2000 each from 2 1000 watt JL amps and one 1000 watt for each 12" and the 10" got a 500 watt each.
I guess it helps when you are a partial owner of a company ;) Anyway the dude poped the hood and said he had to supercharge the engine because the 18 alts he used were eating serouse power and it was realy laggin on the SF hills till he got it supered... He said after it was supered it felt just a little bit weeker than when he first bought the car :eek: Damn, those HO alts eat some power!

yeah i compete in thi midwest in iasca and portwars and some others and i got 2 15inch kicker l7s and 2 kicker xs100s and i hit 154.9 from the drivers seat and my stereo can be heard for blocks and block, i beat a minivan with 6 15s and 6000 wats portwars style

300 db? that is pretty loud and hard to believe if it was just subs, if its the complete system i could see that, but not just subs.

Sorry, but dB's are exponential, so 300 dB's is WAY WAY WAY up there...

dB's are just like horse-power, the higher you go, the harder it is to achieve exponentially... 300 dB would be un-obtainable, even with a setup like that...

That guy who said he had all that stuff for the escalade was full of $hit. first of all the loudes system ever was 177db, this was obtained in db drag competition by people who have over 100,000 watt systems. second there is no way that his system could be even close to 300db because the ear drum perferates at 120db and the human threshold of pain is 130db and finally what proves that he is making this up is given earths atmospheric pressure nothing could ever exceed 198db, so there is no way that he had a 300db system

Yeah 300db would be astronomically high. Db increase exponentially, for example, 130db is twice as loud and 120db and so on... 300db is not even imaginable. Some people are so stupid... bullshitting about stuff that is impossible lol

dude 300db is like an a-bomb dropping and exploding on the mic.

My bandpass Lanzar 10s and vibe amp are 6 years old and I never push the gain passed half way. I have no mids/rears cuz scared of small leaks (somebody suggested I get marine speakers). It still kicks good... Hell, the only reason I have it cuz it's probably the lightest prefabbed sub-enclosure (besides 8s?) and I like techno music. I would love to find an alternative that's even lighter and space convenient that could keep my 2 10s in the car. Any suggestions?
