Tiptronic issue

Hi,

I dont know how to drive manual and i only use auto when i drive but now iam having problem with my car. It gives a sudden jolts/jerk when i stop/go. I am worried that my tranny is damaged. I thought as long as i stay in auto i would be fine. Any suggestion is much appreciated.
