Now I know that regulators seem to be rather problematic in most grand prixs and other gm vehicles, but i'm not sure that i have a faulty one, the motor still runs and the window will lower, but just not raise.
I have a 97 GP GT with 84k miles, 4 door, 3.8 FI OHC
Is there a way to tell if it's a regulator issue as opposed to something else?
edit: i can move the window up or down by hand, not sure if that helps

there's no way to really tell without pulling the door panel off.
by what your saying...it does sound like the regulator. there is a little cable that pulls the window up, and it always freys and breaks.

yeah the cable looks like it jammed in the reel part.... oh well, i found the regulator and motor on ebay new for about $60 including shipping so i'm just going to replace it.
