1995 Ltc

Well guy, my car is at the dealership getting a paint job again.. My point is that the rental car company said they would have a Charger waiting for me when I get there, turns out that they never had my reservations in the computer!!!! So they said I had a choice between a Mitz Galant, Chevy Aveo, or a F-150 that MIGHT be comming back... Least to say I was pissed. So luck having it, a 07 Cadillac DTS rolls up, she offered it to me and I sadi ok.. Once in it, I could not believe how small this car was. Here I am driving the Flag ship of Caddy and GM and I can't even scratch my ass b/c everything is so tightly spaced. Now, as I am driving last night in this POS, the darrrn instrument cluster starts to flicker, the lights wont work, so my radar is off, speedo says I am doing 40, but the Police officer that pulled me over said it was 47..So her asks me for my info, I told him its a rental and I am having problem with it.. He doesnt believe me until the car starts to smoke from behind the dash and I started to exit the car as he is yelling at me to stay in and then sees the smoke himself. As he runs the tag, its comes back stolen.:banghead: So I called the 800 number and explain the situation to the operator.. She says that there is nothing they can do until the morning. but confirms that the car is theirs and convinces the officer to not take me to jail. So the car has extinguished by the fire truck and the red hidrant thats sits on the coner of the street. So I get a ride home from the officer and around 10 this morning I get a phone call from the rental car company saying they have a 07 Lincoln Town Car and it has my name on it. Needless to say I was happy and getting places on time.. Thought this story would entertain you a little..

(P.S. Turns out the tag was switched by a criminal in Tampa.. And nobody checks the plates when a car is returned because??????:banghead:
