Hi everyone
just wanted to intruduce myself to the room
I just got into cars around 8 months ago (imports) so everything i know about cars i learned from the honda section and all of my rice magazines
so you will have to forgive my lack of knowledge

i had a realy sweet deal on a mustang fall into my lap in december (thats why i now own a mustang instead of a honda) too good to pass up
its a 65 with a 302 droped into it and a c-4 transmission., other than that im not too sure what other mods it has. so ill be dropping in time to time trying to learn what exactly it is that i have here, and how to make it better.

well id still like to have a honda one day but, get this, the guy who owned the mustang before me used it as a show car.
he buys a new 50th aniversary corvette and now he doesnt have enough room for all of his cars. he already owns another mustang like the one he sold me only he turned that one into a race car, so he sells this one to me for $6,500.
so i figure honda will still be making cars for years to come but a deal like this is once in a lifetime.
only thing is i graduate from college in a little under two years and when that happens i want to move outside of boston. they have good public transportation so no need for a car out there and i wouldnt want to take the mustang out there anyways cause the weather would do horrible things to the car, so i figure ill just give it to mom when i head out.

Don't give it to your mom, garage it, take it out on weekends for some fun, and keep the miles low on it :D

um no pics yet ill get on that though
and ill have my little sis teach me how to use this scanner
the miles are realy low the car has a little over 160k and the engine has a little under 700 miles

i dont want to risk the weekend car thing out there. its just with all the moisture in the air and when they throw the salt on the road in the winter its just too much of a chance of rust and corrosion.

hiflow5 0 if i ever disown my mom ill send it right over to you, then i could use that as a tax write-off.
