here are my problems that just seemed to have started. First the cruise control doesn't work all the time any more, only when it wants to, now my astrostart doesn't lock or unlock the doors anymore, the 4wd doesn't always want to go into 4 Hi for som reason, and now the windshield wipers only work when they want to. I did a New ignition switch last year could something have come disconnected in there?? sure is frusterating. The truck goes easily into 4 Lo, so I don't think it is the switch in the 4wd, I did resolder the windshield wper board, works great when it doesn't rain, but seems to be stubborn when it is raining. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It all seems like it is electrical. thanks

Which problem are you going to start on?
With any electrical problem you need get a good wiring diagram and repair flow chart and a good volt ohm meter.

Well, the windshield wipers are the most important issue right now, so I did order a new wiper circuit board for under the hood? hopefully that fixes that. my 4wd hi works if i push it 3 times or so? sometimes less, always goes into 4 lo on the first push, and my 2hi/4hi lights never stay on all the time if that has something to do with it. the cruise control i think will be next, though, but that sometimes works and most times doesn't. meaning it doesn't seem to turn on, any suggestions?

Yes
Get a good electrical diagram and volt/ohm meter and check cruise switches and switching.

Cruise switch works off of ohms to switch stuff on and off.
Check out ohms on switch.
