Some headlights come out easy, a few bolts on and a few bolts off. Some you gotta take a lot of things off. Batteries are in the way, and a number of other things that can take $10 to $70+ because you have to take a lot of things off jus to replace it, im not sure about your model but id say look at it and see if it looks easy, if it does then it probably is, if it doesn't then it probably isnt. So think to yourself do you wanna take the time and might not get it done right or have someone do it right and have you pay them.

It jas been a while, but this is how I remember to do it.
*Pull off the wire harness from the back of the bulb. It might be tough to get off due to corrosion. (There may be some some swearing and throwing stuff involved)
*Remove the plastic locking ring by rotating it. It only needs to rotate a few degrees before it comes off.
*Pull off the rubber boot. It has a tab you can grab on to.
*There is a spring clip that holds the bulb. One side of the hook is held in by a barb. Push in and up on the clip and it should release. (This may take a few minutes if you have never done it before and see aforementined note on swearing and throwing stuff.) The other side of the clip is held into the plastic of the light assy. The clip only swings out of the way when it is released.
the bulb will come right out.
*Before you replace the bulb, wipe the glass down with rubbing alcohol. It WILL improve the life of the bulb.
Install the bulb in the reverse order. Make sure the clip is out of the way when the bulb is inserted. Also, make sure the tabs of the bulb are properly seated in the housing.
While your at it, put some dielectric grease on the bulb and wiring harness to prevent corrosion. If you need to change the bulb again, the harness comes right off. :smoker2:
