Hi to all,
I am new to the forum but had a question maybe some of you all could answer "open edned "?"""
I run around in a rather beat up 1996 jeep for my part time mobile DJ buis. but am thinking about buying a car to play with "sup up the engine deck it with a sweet sound system and some other mods but for a modest budget. What do you all reccomend in terms of a decent car to start with "year make model ect." I am open to just about anything but a neon or cavaler. Sorry but just had 1 to many bad things happen with those 2 cars.
Thanks

Sup'.:coolguy: Welcome to the board.
Hmmm...I'd suggest either a turbo DSM or a lt1/ls1 powered Fbody. Both very easy to modify for serious performance. They also both look great imho.

Welcome to AF!!! Feel free to cruise around the forum seeing what all has been done with all varieties of cars. You'd be surprised at what people do, and what might be an awesome idea that you would have never considered ;)

Cya! Fbody is the code for Camaro & Firebirds. DSM stands for Diamond Star Motors which is the joint venture between Chysler & Mitsubishi that resulted in the creation of the Eclipse, Talon, & Laser.
Here's some good sites for DSMs;
www.dsmtuners.com
www.dsmtalk.com
www.dsm.org
www.2gnt.com
Here's some for Fbodys;
www.ls1.com
www.f-body.com
www.camaroz28.com
Also, check the forums here, too. They got some decent info in em'.
Good luck. :)
