2000 Trans Am Inertia Switch Location?

Where is the Inertia Switch located in a 2000 Trans Am??


My friend ran his car out of gas. He kept trying to start it but nothing. I checked the valve in the Fuel Rail and no fuel is coming out with no power, key on or turning the engine over. Im hoping he didnt burn up his pump but I was told there is a switch that could be reset and maybe help him.

Inertia switch on a pontiac Never heard of it...Not that its not possible...You're talking about the switch that I know ford uses in case the vehicle gets into an accident and it shuts off the fuel pump...They keep it in the trunk behind an access cover to the left and sometimes on the right so maybe Pontiac did the same. let us know if there is one and if it fixed the problem please..
