Hey whats up everyone i am buying a 93 Eagle Talon Dl 1.8 Sohc 8v. I Know what your thinking dont buy it. Well this car is a project car so ya know, well heres the problem the top half of the motor has been rebuilt, but the lower half has some blown rings so I either rebuild that. Or get a 2.0 n/t or turbo but my quistion is will any thing line up it is a 5 speed and if anyones knows a site that would tell me about this or could someone tell me if its possible, will the wiring and computer need to be change?????? The reason im buying it is cuz its only 600.00 a steal for that car. Well if you could post the info or email me at [email protected] thanks suicide racer.:flash:

to be honest, i'd say just save the hassle and buy a turbo motor, u can easily find one for about $8-900.

i bought a running 1.8 for 600 bucks i ran it all summer then i had to do a head gasket and then a month later i threw the silent shaft bearing so now its in my backyard with the engine in boxes in the back. all the engine parts are there you just need the bearings and gaskets to put it back together.
if you want a project car u can have mine for $500 its got 158,*** miles on it 5 spd, foglights, the interior is almost flawless, if you want it email me at [email protected]
about doing a turbo engine swap...
the 5spd tranny will match up you'll need to swap the wiring harness (or add a engine management system) if you swap the wiring harness youll need to change the ecu too the exhaust is different too but you definately want a aftermarket high flow exhaust if your doing a project car
