Has anybody built a Revell-Germany kit?

in general, or specifically one of the F50 models? They are quite cheap, comparitively, and if the quality is as good or better than regular revell, I'll be happy.

Yes, I have built one....
Honest opinion - you get what you pay for, meaning, you buy a chep kit, you get cheap quality moldings.
The one I built took a lot of clean up, filling, filing and sanding to get it to look decent.
Why don't you just get the Tamiya kit and not have to worry?

The tamiya kit is a little hard to come by, and quite pricey.
I found a Tamiya F40 yesterday, and bought it. Now I want to do the F50 too... not sure if I'll do a hardtop or convertible, though.
Which kit did you do?

Please don't make the same mistake I made some time ago, don't buy the F50, it sucks big time , compared to the Tamiya one.
In general, only buy Revell kits unless you NEED one so badly and no other manufacturer makes it,
My honest Two Cents.

I have made the Shelby 1.. beside fitting problem, it's a great kit..
and I have made a new Mini cooper (it's germany) and this one is the wrost kit I have ever see...
If Tamiya have a 10/10, then Revell germany would have 4/10.. Revell 5/10 and hasegawa WRC Kit 11/10 :D
