Pulling sterring Wheel

I need to remove my steering wheel on 82 DeLorean. The steering puller holes seem to be 6 or 7 mm. I tried both and SAE too without success. Does anyone know what size bolts to use for the puller?

I don't recall the sizes, but I do remember it was quite a feat to remove the wheel. Much cursing & ingenuity at the time. Best of luck!

Ok, thanks. I guess I can always tap those with a bigger known size thread and go from there. I think 1/4"X20 should do it.

I am also thinking about replacing the shocks and possibly installing perfomance springs. If anyone has any experience with that, I'd appreciate hearing about it.

Thanks Tony

Eibach had replacement springs last time I checked (a few years ago).

What about cutting the rear ones? How did that go again?
