ok.....was driving to work on the freeway today in the raing and as i'm cruising around a curve...my driver side front wheel started to (seems to anyways) bounce  not sure if that's the correct word to use but i started drifting into the other lane....it was doning this all the way to work.....i know i have to replace my shocks and cv joints and do my camber....would this contribute to whatever just happened?? also...with those factors in mind...would that cause my tires to hydroplane??

Are they directional tires? i have potenza re950 and they are about useless in the rain or wet pavement...

I think i know what you're talkin about. Does is it also shake? I know mine does that cause i need to replace the upper ball joints. Its like your turning but feels like you're sliding at the same time. Its kinda scary hehe:p

hydroplaing occurs when too much water is going through the treads on your tires so much that the tire cant diffuse the water fullly causing the water to raise the tire off the ground, losing traction, when this occurs, dont hit the brakes, or the gas, just let off everything and coast until your tires get traction, you'll feel it when it happens.

i know the whole deal on hydroplaning....did it on I-40....spun around in my wifes 94 civic ex in 6 lanes of traffic.....but i'm wondering the deal with my front tire bouncing while i'm going around curves on the highway

damn, really don't know what to tell you, but sounds like you have had some fun, spinning a car in 6 lanes of traffic. I've had some really bad tires that I had to stay behind semi's going home just so i can get some traction in the rain, that sucked, cause I hate following people.

One time it was raining and I was driving down this road, it had a little s turn it and i wasn't going that fast because it was raining. Got up to the first little turn and all of a sudden my ass end comes up and says hi, then goes right back where it belongs, shocked the hell out of me, didn't scare me or anything, just kinda weird. I found out later that the road as a slick spot right on that turn and you can slide around even in dry weather, quite fun actually.
