I dunno about other states, but I know it isnt part of CA's test anymore.

haha, that reminds me, yesterday I was mobbin to costco to get gas and this maxima pulled hella close to my rear bumper and I didnt wanna slide back so I just lit em up ... cop gave me a look but didnt whip around and pull me over, I guess he knew.

two days ago i was at the hospital & this mexican girl tried to park in 5 different spaces, then the last one she picked she parked about 4 inches from the car on her passenger side so her friend couldnt get out.... she tried to back out but freaked out about hitting the car next to her so she came over to me and asked me to pull her car out & re-park it 4 her.
she couldnt speak english but i got the point so i got in & pulled out then parked 2 spaces over in a larger spot so she could get out when she came back..... can u say time for a DMV re-test! The saddest part was.... she was driven a 5th gen civic..... poor, poor car.... i wish i could've adopted it. It didnt deserve such a poor driver. :rolleyes:

when i was delivering pizza for dominos, i saw this asain girl in an old camry or something parking across the street, it literally took her about 30mins, and hit the cra in front of her and behind her at least 10x each before getting in the spot.

we have this TV program over here in the UK... called somthing like the most dangerous drivers in the UK... now some of them scare the crap out of.... This one literally cant reverse at all she jsut freaks out totally and jsut puts her foot down... im not sure how she got a licence in the first place ...... oh but guess what the program is a competition so at the end the best improved or somthing like that gets a nice brand new sports car to smash up weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee and the wat those people drive the car will be smashed up within a day.

that guy has no reason to be drivin that car. he might have the money but he doesnt know how to drive it. in ct we dont have to par. park on our test but my dad taught me before i had my liscence and im glad he did.

im not great at it or anything, but I would have been able to get the Z out for sure.

well i can feel for this guy ... when i had my hachi and learning to drive stick i never once used reverse ... never ... and when i went to smog it i had to use it for the first time and i damn near smacked into an ae92, which i thought ironic, trying to back up to the shop area for the test. i eventually got frustrated and told the dude at the shop to back my shit up for me.

But for home boy running a 350Z? thats just plain pathetic ... you would figure that if im gonna buy a NEW sports car i would learn how to drive it before i bought it...

As for the parrallel parking ... i think the main reason CA doesnt use it on the test anymore is cause we dont have spots for that really. This fine state understands people are stupid and designs all parking to confrom to pull in and back out spots. Thank you and have a pleasant parking experience ...

it's not part of the NC test either, but at least I can parallel park everything from a 73 Coupe DeVille to the EX... Honestly the only time I ever have to parallel park is when I go to the post office.

its basicly being phased out. VERY FEW locations have spots that park like that. and most of em have to fit ALL sizes of cars from the biggest SUV to our hatches ... so unless your driving an SUV you should ALWAYS have enough room to rock it into place ...
