im sure you all know that when the del sol was in production, in japan they called it a crx- its only known as a del sol in america.

actually it was marketed as a crx del-Sol in america up until either 95 or 96. Can't remember which year, but Honda dropped crx completely in one of those years and made it strictly del-Sol until the end of it's production in 97 for the US.

no, it was civic del sol the whole time in america. just as was civic crx

and it was crx del Sol in Japan and Europe, too.. just to let you know.. The reason the local dealer offered up about why it was a civic del sol and civic crx is because in the US the civic name was known and trusted.. but who knows..
