Another one in the process. Here's a rough drawing of it. It dosen't look too bad, but I'd like your opinion.

Cool start--like that down low, wormy viewing angle.
Great detailing work on the front chrome.
The one thing that stands out to me is the roof height above the top
of the side glass.
Seems like it might work to be a bit lower down to the glass as the roof line trails away.

It's higher on the real car. The top of the roof is higher than the side windows. I just made it a bit higher to exagerate the whole thing :)
Here's the last sketch of it. I'll be drawing the line art soon.
I tried to figure out how you guys (Blip,Lemorris,greg-ory for example) do your shading/coloring with photoshop !? It's really nice. Each time \I use the burn tool it dosen't turn out as good as you guys. I also try playing with gradient tools, but it dosent turn out as good also...I'm probably still a ''newbie'' with photoshop, but I guess I'll learn in time.

you're already past me
I render in channels but it's the same in PS layers. If you do your lineart in Illustrator and open it with photoshop you can use the magic wand tool to select in areas the fill colors on layers below your lineart. Set your lineart layer on top and set it's properties to Multiply.

Got it, don't know the model of Chevy very well, and the roof line was something that caught my eye.
Like the wheels and "slammed lower rider" look of the final pencil.
For coloring, I take a bit of a different track then most and do all of it (line art and color/gradient fill)
in a vector program called Expression 3.
Never got a good handle on coloring with PhotoShop, but lemorris has made some great tutorials
and greg-ory makes cool toons too.

K, so I've slowly restarted the Impala. I'm a bit busy with other projects but I took a couple of minute to add basic color to it.
I will have to do a little touch up on the front lights and shadowing on the whole bumper area.

hehe, thanks for the comment. I'm glad to hear that. I've been looking at the work from Lemorris and blip alot, which I admire. I believe it opened up more possibilities and gave me another view on how to toon them.
BTW, Lemorris, I just learned the technique with the pen tool and it's way much better. So, my style will hopefully evolve once again. I've learned alot throught this website and I'm greatful to have met all of you. It's a fun hobbie and pass-time, I believe that this has become an obsession, to always surpass my self on each drawing. Cartoonerz has become a little part of my life and i want to give ''good eye'' candy to the viewers. I'm not really into this for money, but more to see the reaction and comments that the viewers are leaving me. I find this better that any valuable thing because it is a skill that I developed from a simple blank sheet of paper and over the years, it got better.
Anyhow, it's just something i needed to say I guess, and I appreciate, once again, all the help and suggestion from the members of this forum.
Hopefully, i'll have more time to draw soon...

Restarted the line art on the Impala using this technique. Want to see if I can make this happen. There's a couple of things I dont get yet..but It will all come with time.

Here's another little update..man, I'm tired of redrawing this car..cant wait to do something else ! Hopefully I'll have it done soon.
The pen tool works really well. It's more refined than the line tool on flash. There's a couple of things I dont like about this method, but It might be because I'm lacking the experience!

I'm patiently watching your progress on this Impala--always liked their lines.
However--there is something about that roof that seems 'hearse' like to me but can't wait to see it all pulled together.
