Scratch Repair

Had a scrape against a wall.. I think it's pretty bad but was wondering if it would be worth trying to use scratch repair/buff and some touch up paint to try to fix it on my own. Some pics below. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great.

You may be able to buff some of that out but it will never look like it did before the accident. The parts that are down to black will be tricky! I would just pull the bumper cover off, get your paint code, and take it to a body shop. I am sure you could find someone nice enough who would mix up the paint and make it look brand new for a reasonable price!

if you have a paint gun of your own, and you have the money to buy the paint, and a respirator, i would just do it myself if i were you, it won't be difficult, and you just hold it a hands length away from the bumper :).

May be a little pricey though! I don't know how cheap you can get a paint gun.

good news is.... since its on the corner it should be easier to blend...

bad news is... its silver... not an easy color to blend or get the 'flop' looking right (the way the metallic lays)

i would bring it to a body shop and pull the paint tech aside and offer him cash to do a side job... shouldnt cost more than a couple hundred $$
