Hey everybody,
Got one for ya, 91 3.0 Aerostar started out with no fuel at fuel rail. I replaced pump with a new one and a new filter. Got gas at fuel rail now, still no start. Spray ether down the intake and runs fine for a few seconds. Checked injectors, they are receiving a pulse. Pulled a code of 96 first time: Secondary pump circuit failure. Then upon inspection I noticed that at the plastic case on the drivers side fender weld where the harness is and the ODB1 connector is there was another wire for one of the relays. when I swithced the connectors I pulled a trouble code 87 fuel pump primary circuit failure. So after reading the entire chapter in chiltons I could not find any referrance to either code or primary or secondary systems. :banghead: Also checked the inertia switch all good there. I pulled one of the injector wires and tried to start. Supposeably that checks to see if pressure regulator is working. Got gas got spark should run. Runs as long as I spray fuel in the intake. I know get a big hose and pour the gas in to get along right :evillol: . Please help and thanks for any info!!!!!!!!!!
