97 3.2 valve cover HELP

I'm not sure what if I'm missing something here, maybe someone can tell me. I started this evening to replace the valve cover gaskets - got the intake plenum off, and all the stuff out of the way, but ran in to a snag actually removing the cover. On the driver's side cover, I took out all the bolts (confirmed 11 with Haynes, assuming that's right). The front of the cover broke free just fine, but the rear doesn't want to let go. It will actually wiggle up and down and side-to-side, but just won't come off. Perhaps it's the rtv at the camshaft tower (seems about right for where it's sticking), or is there a bolt or something that I can't see and doesn't exist in the Haynes book? I'm really trying to avoid prying on the thing and causing myself more problems, but it's driving me crazy. Never come across a cover that gave me so much trouble before. Any ideas?

Did you remove the EGR tube? If not, it isn't coming off.

Admittedly, no. The bolts were looking to be a PITA to remove, so I kinda nudged the EGR tube a little bit while trying to remove the cover. I haven't been hitting the tube with the cover just yet, so I didn't think it was gonna really be a problem. I'll have another look and see if I removing the tube helps my situation. Thanks.

You're really helping me to get excited about finishing this.. :) I wound up having to be out of town this week for work, but I plan on getting back to it Saturday morning. Maybe I'll have regained some patience and things will go a little more smoothly.
