Hello everyone I`m new to this site and have a question about my 2001 Pontiac Grand Am Gt. I just changed the brakes and rotors all around and during that i turned the wheels without the engine running and notice that it spit out some steering fluid from the rack/pinion. With the engine running it & turning the wheels it does not leak any fluid at all. It`s not leaking with the engine off either.. Is that normal??

Welcome to AF.
No, leaks are not normal, thier shouldn't be any leaking of any fluids.
Could be a hose, could be a seal in the rack.
Wont realy know untill you check under the car.

I have never seen that on a GM, Fords and Chryslers will leak from the reservoir cap of you force the steering wheel too hard with the engine off.
Are you sure it was P/S fluid? Is it possible you pressed the pistons back in on the calipers, causing the master cylinder reservoir to overflow onto the rack area? That'll happen if you've ever topped off the reservoir/
