No Bumper Covers...Legal to put license plate in rear window?

Hey, Im getting my bumper covers repainted...right now all i have are the metal bumpers...is it legal for me to put my plate in my rear window?

depends on what state you're in, what you're driving, etc.

you could easily have made a phone call to your local DMV or police station to ask this... but basically, if mini trucks get away w/ it, I'm pretty sure you can too.

Not to mention that I've done it for months on end, even when I did have a place to put it... never been pulled over in NY, PA, NJ, or MD... so you should be safe.

Next time, do a lil research before posting tho... please.

i think it all depends on the officer that sees it and his mood IMO...but check your states' DOT website to get specific details
