i have a 1995 transmission i took out bc it went bad i think a bearing went out well im going to a junkyard and they only have 96's and up do i have to get the same year?

95 through 01 transmissions are all the same except for gear ratio. Four cylinder cars got 3.79, tall highway gears. Three cylinder cars got 4.39, short way too many rpms gears.

Yes i could understand that but mine is an OBD1 and 1996 is were most of the cars swiched to OBD2.

Makes no difference. The on board diagnostic system has nothing to do with the manual transmission.

Like Woodie stated, so long as its a 3 cylinder 95-01 you'll be good.

alright thanks you guys and it has been hell trying to find one in a junkyard lol
there is this place that has one for $400 and they dont know how many miles are on it do you think i could talk them down b/c of that or have an extended warranty?:headshake
