Okay so i checked my computer today and i got codes 12 and 43. I think 43 is a knock sensor or something?(can someone explain what this is and how costly it is to repair). As for 12 havent been able to find anything. PLease Is you can get back to me and maybe estimate on repairs that would be great!

P.s would any of these be effecting my gas mileage because thats a problem with my car?

code 12: no distributor/spark pulse to ECM. This code will always come on when doing a key on/engine off diagnostic because the engine isn't running. Many people call this a starting or reference code, but that isn't technically correct.

Code 43: Knock sensor signal voltage was either above 4.8 volts or below 0.64 volts for 10 seconds. This indicates either a faulty sensor, or shorted/grounded harness to the sensor.
