air bag warning light code

on my wife's 95 Escort LX sometimes the air bag warning light blinks after starting the engine. It seems to be a code since it blinks 3 times, stays off for about 10 sec, blinks 3 times, stays off for about 10 sec, ...
It usually goes away if i switch off the engine completely and restart the engine. Does anyonw know what the codes means?!?

Wait for it to happen again and count the blinks to be sure... the number of blinks translates into a 2 digit number. THe first set of blinks is the first digit and the second set is the second digit.
If it does turn out to be 33, the code is telling you something is wrong with the passenger side airbag.

I think 10 seconds between flashes is a little too long though, so double check it.
