Anyone know anything about this stuff? its supposed to coat the interior surfaces of your engine up to 2 microns deep with a ceramic material, tryed consumer reports, they didn't have any information. It allegedly makes the surfaces like glass, reduceing wear and tear and such. I'm understandably dubious.

As with many things like this, it might be snake oil or it might help. If it actually does what it claims, (which is darn near impossible) its not a good thing. Internal engine components are all designed with a specific finish to optimize its lubrication properties. For instance, cylinder walls are honed with a specific finish depending on what type of rings you use; the point being that the cylinder walls are supposed to have the right texture to hold the right amount of oil for lubrication. That is why cylinders are not polished. It has been shown for many decades that a lot of the friction-modifying additives are not the greatest for that reason.

But it might be a good thing and you're on the right path; research first, buy later.
