so it probably would not be the fuse, right? Wish I would have thought to buy the 30 amp fuse, at least to give it a try.
Bought one new window motor and took door panel off, but see that I have to drill out the rivets. That should not be too hard, but the motor instructions also say that I have to drill a hole in the motor, apparently to keep some part from being sprung in there, but does not say exactly where to drill it, and then what to do with the hole after drilling it. I'm fairly mechanically inclined, but this one has me stumped. Can anyone tell me exactly how to do it? Can't afford to pay $105 just for labor on each window.
Also, does anyone know if the window motors on Ebay auto are any good? I got one for $39 at Napa, not including core price, but Ebay has some for $14.
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to AF. First of all. The E-bay window motors are rebuilds and will only give you trouble down the road. I would stay with the new one from NAPA.
OK, the motor replacement isn't that hard to do. I don’t drill into the motor and I don’t know why you would need to. But, After you remove the 4 rivets on the door. The regulator and Motor assembly will be able to be removed from the door. Now you'll find that the motor is also riveted to the regulator assembly. You'll need to remove those rivets as well. Just a tip. I use a cold chisel to remove the rivets. I find it faster to do the job. Now when you remove the motor from the Regulator. You want to be careful when cut off the last rivet. The regulator is spring loaded to the Motor. Just hold the window arm and separate the motor from the regulator. Replace the Motor with the new one and refasten Motor to Regulator, and make sure that you have the same amount of spring tension. Here’s another tip. The kit comes with screws to mount the Motor. I found it easier to use rivets and I also used 3/8 in. X ½ in. bolts. To mount the assembly to the door instead of the rivets the came with the kit. Good luck and let us know how you come out.
