Civic seats

Are the passanger and drivers seats interchangible. The top half of my seat (the part that reclines back) is ripped and i seen a passenger seat in a Junkyard in perfect shape. The seat is from a Lx sedan. Can I use the top part from the passenger Lx seat to replace my ripped drivers side seat?

not that i know of, i cant remember exactly how the whole setup is but i dont think so, i know other seats i have done u cant do that to because of the reclining mechanism

Im talking about just the fabric part of the seat, im taking every thing off and just putting in place of my drivers seat

Do you mean the cover or the acctual seat, if its the acctual seat then no it wont work.

you can change the covers. not the parts.

yes u can change the covers, take side cutters with u, u'll thank me later, u'll see hoverings in the bottom that u have 2 take out then when sliding the seat off u just roll it off, but look for 2 wires on the inside, i'm pretty sure when i did a civic seat at the upholstry shop it had them but b careful of they're there, u need to take the hoverings out of them and slide the rods down, MAKE SURE u take off the headrest and the little plastic piece the headrest goes into, just a little screw 2 take it off, have fun
