'94 Bronco 302 4x4 Radiator overflow

I have a '94 Bronco that I just purchase that needed work. Fan broke off and went into the radiator. Im confused cause I have always seen the overflow tank connected to the fitting below the radiator cap. On this truck there is a line from the Throttle body that leads to that fitting. This is not something that was rigged up. It actually runs from the TB then becomes a hard line that attaches to the top of the radiator and then becomes a hose again and attaches to that fitting. The overflow hose is just hanging there with no place to connect it to. Where does the over flow hose go to???

Usually the overflow hose go towards the ground and is attached close to the end. Normally along side the radiator but sometimes from the collent bottle.
