So I was bored today and decided to hit up both Honda dealership and a Subaru dealership today. I test drove the Honda S2000 first and I must say it is an unpleasant car to drive. Way too stiff and tight feeling. It had a lot of power for the higher rpm range and easily kicked out the wheels into a fish tail from a stop but it literally felt like I was driving a hunk of metal. It felt as if though there was no room for flexibility :/ maybe it's just me but I didn't like the ride as much as I liked the drive.

I then in up Nate Wade subaru and test drove an 05' wrx and wasn't all that impressed with that either :/ I was really hoping that one of those two I would like enough to trade my Mazda6 in for and 'upgrade' my status in the car field =D The only downfall I found with this car was everything felt cheap and cookie cutter style inside.

Let me know what you guys think about the S2000 & WRX Sedans. The S2000 weas fairly priced (16K) , low miles (43K) and has a extended 4 year warranty. The WRX was a little more expensive (19K) but I did enjoy the AWD system and had low miles as well (48.5K) You know what's really funny ? Both places let me take the cars with just leaving them my D/L lol.

Thats all we normally have to leave? What else are you sup[posed to do? Also I heard they run credit checks on you while you are out. What bastards eh.

If you dont like either, why would you consider buying one of them? If you're set on getting a new car, you should get one you actually like.

EDIT: I've heard the opposite about Scoobies, lots of people say that sitting in one of them compared to say an Evo is a lot nicer. My friend drove an S2000 and he said it was favorite car that he's ever driven. Have you test driven an Evo?

Driven 03 WRXs and thought its an ok car. Fast in my book but I'm used to the ESi.... so thats not saying a lot. The S2000 has a comfortable feeling to me while inside, but I never actually drove one. I wouldn't go out of my way for it since it's an unpractical car for me.

Well I like both and a lot more cars but those two offer the things I want awd w/turbo and a rwd 6 speed layout with monster hp potential and a top speed of 200 mph+ =D. I have three cars to trade in actually lol..the 96 mx-6 ls , the 04 mazda 6 and my..well soon to be..1998 ford explorer so I think it should give me roughly 13K in trade in credit. I am torn with the WRX because I love subaru and the fact i've seen like 1/10 ratio of broken down subaru's to other vehicles and having previously owned 3 myself they are a winner with me.

I like the S2000 because of the performance it already packs but it lacks a luxurious feel as does the wrx. Honda's only descent car to ever come out that packs that type of punch is the S2000 everything else is shit. All this can be modified or whatever but I don't want to pay 20 K for a car then another 10K to make it feel right you know? I did also think about the lancer but I just don't dig the over all look of it :/ and I am only looking to cap at about 25K with trade in's no more than 15K
