You are reffering to the "gold-plated" Diable??? Sorry, but you've been fooled. That is a normal Lamborghini gold paint.

Anyway, the most interesting car I have ever seen is probably the Minority Report Lexus that was at the 2003 Philly Auto Show. I could barely tell which side was front or back. Pictures are on my site www.carz3.tripod.com or possisbly www.carz2.tripod.com ... and while you're there check out www.carz.tripod.com :D All pics from the show are spred through the 3 sites.

Yeah, that is the weirdest car ever. I didn't even look at it this year, but last year I spent like 10 mins trying to figure out which end was the front.

Nearly any of Ed Roths (may he R.I.P) creations. Most interesting I've actually seen though was a chopped & sectioned 1956 Ford F100 pickup with a blown Hemi and a tray that had a cover on it, reading "fat"

I sure do mean a Hemi in a Ford pickup! They put Hemis in 32-34 Ford Coupes too you know. There was a 1954 Dodge pickup at the Summernats 8 and it had a 428 Cobra Jet Ford in it, did the biggest damn burnout i've ever bloody seen! Just proves how insane some people are with their old trucks!

Oscar Mayer Weinermobile

Just driving along on 70, and then almost drove right off the road. It scared the crap right out of me when it passed me. "That's the biggest hotdog on wheels that I have ever seen"

On the road? Once, 50+ miles from home, we were passed by IIRC a 1924 Oakland -- turns out my wife's ex-boyfriend was driving! Go figure.

Stopped? Once at a car show, we were slotted next to a Duesenburg J. With the hood open, top of the cam covers was at eyeball level, and I'm 6'0".

In a museum? At Petersen's in L.A. the only time I was there they just happened to be having a sportscar exhibit and a Pegaso was on display. Droolsville!

Weinermobile? I got a close look 3 years ago at one parked at our neighborhood grocery store. Looks better from a distance. More manufacturers should consider novelty advertising vehicles. Think Trojan...

hahahahahahah...

I went to the Peterson museum once as well, they had cars from Hollywood movies in it at the time. I saw the Batmobile... the good one from Batman and Batman Returns. Most badass car ever!

Also a few Bond cars, Eleanor from Gone in 60 (The remake Yuck), and all the cars from the movie The Grinch (Jim Carrey).

On the road... Hmmm I cant think of anything that was too terribly interesting... nothing truely exotic.
