Hello I have a 2000 GP with the 3800 series II with 139000 miles and it now stalls out after I start it almost immidiatley. Sometimes I can hurry up and hit the gas and keep it reving at about 2000 to 3000 rpms for like 10 seconds and it will be fine after but now I cant at all. It does seem to work when i start it and then immediatley shift to reverse or drive but im not tryin to do that every time. I replaces the mass air floe sensor about a year ago and I disconnected it to see if that was the problem but it wasn't. I also cleaned the idle air controller with some carb cleaner spray so thats not the problem. I only other thing I can thjink of is that it has something to do with the crankshaft postion sensor. Before my car was doing the thing were the tac stops working and the Trac off light comes on and I was told that it was the crankshaft position sensor so I already bought one I just haven't had it installed yet so could that have something to do with the stalling problem? Thanks

check the wiring harness to the CKPS. It may be corroded or worn through.

When you changed the crank sesor, did you perform the CKP System Variation Learn Procedure? If not, this can only be done with a qualified tool, such as a Tech 2.
