When I turn left, some of the times I get a squeaking noise. This only happens at slow speeds and right after my foot comes off the brake pedal. It is not a squeaking noise like a powe steering problem, but more so like the noise is coming from the back of the vehicle. Could it be my brakes? But why only when I turn? Also, if it is my brake, anyone got advice on the MIDAS lifetime warrantly info? Thanks in advance

Brakes sound logical especially if you have rear drum brakes like most. Probably some part of the mechanism in the drum is scraping on metal. Could be the return spring itself. Why in turns? Could be because turning adds stress forces and weight to the wheel on the outside of the turn. Does it matter which way you turn?

It does not matter which way I turn. I don't have drum brakes on the rear. I was thinking the brakes myself, but when I took the wheel off, looks like they were still good. I live in a very hilly area and I noticed today that it usually happened after I was doing a lot of braking coming down the steep hills and stopping at the intersections and waiting for the light to change. Almost like after sitting a while and when I take the brake off the pedal, it is slow to release. Does that make sense?
