2003 Envoy Inlet Actuator Repair (A/C)

I hear there is a method to getting to the actuators in the A/C system without a complete dash teardown. I would LOVE any details on this method. My 2003 Envoy has been making a whining noise behind the dash and I have narrowed it down to the Inlet Actuator. I have purchased a new one online, and hoping I can take on this repair on my own.

before doing that, try pulling out all the fuses for the HVAC system underneath the rear seat for atleast 10 seconds. then turn your ignition key on and leave it there for 3 minutes. that'll reset the actuators. worked for me!

Thanks for that tip. I gave it a try, but it didn't stop the noise. Guess I'm back to taking apart the dash.
