Hello all,
Well, I've had my 08 Malibu less than a week (my very first ever NEW car) and I've already found a scratch on one of the doors. It's about an inch long, down to the primer. Is there anything out there to repair this? It's the black granite metallic, and the primer is grey, so it's very noticable. I am so bummed....yesterday, I went to the pet store to pick up dog food, came out, and there was a scuff on the bumper! I puposely parked way at the end of the parking lot where nobody else does, and still wind up with a scuff. It was in such a weird spot, like someone had to "stand" on the bumper to make this mark. Luckily, that one I was able to rub out. But back to the first problem, anyone have any suggestions?

Well if it makes you feel any better my sister's brand new 09... yes 2009 Toyota RAV4 (I guess they didn't sell enough so 08 models so they're being recycled) got rear ended just two days after taking it out of the dealer.
There are no parts in stock to repair it and they don't even have the paint color to repaint her car so she has to drive it like that around town

OK, I see your point, it could be worse. But I'm still bummed cuz now I see it everytime, cuz I know it's there. Too bad about your sister's ride, though.
