Hello I have an 03 Ford Focus Zx3 2.0L it has 60,000 miles on it. The problem I have is that when I am driving it dosent go into 4th but of coarse it goes into reverse and a code P0750 does come up. My question is where is this solenoid located and where can I get one to replace the old one.

Hello John
I have the same car with the same problem. Were you able to find the location of the solenoid? What was the final diagnosis of your vehicle, did you have to replace the solenoid or was it a problem with your wiring.

PO750 is shift solenoid #1 circuit failure. SS1 circuit failed to provide voltage drop across solenoid. Circuits open or shorted or PCM driver failure during on board diagnoistics.
Symptoms are improper gear selection depending on condition mode and manual lever position.
The SS1 solenoid is located in the valve body of the tranny. Drop the pan and the SS1 is in the lower corner of the valve body and is the only solenoid that runs parallel to the to the longer side of the valve body.
