Hi all, I am having some issues with a 1995 Contential. It has sat in my yard for a while (like 2 years, lol, but I cranked every now and then), and i tried to get it cranked the other day and could't get it to fire up. It turns over without hesitation, but thats all it did was turn over. So i tried spraying started fluid in the air intake to see if fuel was the problem... and still nothing. So i changed out the spark plugs and still the same result. Like the Title says, i am a noob when it comes to cars so if you guys could help me out i would GREATLY appriciate it.
Thanks,
Steve

Two years is a long time for fuel delivery components. I would recommend replacing the fuel filter then flushing clean fuel through the tank and fuel rails first. That might even clog a new filter.
The injectors might be clogged.. they should all be verified as working.
With clean pressurized fuel, and a spark you should be running.

Sounds like no spark. If it were a fuel problem i.e. no fuel at injectors/fuel pressure problem, etc., then spraying the starting fluid into the intake would have at least started the engine for a few seconds assumming that the car has spark. Check to see if you have spark at the plugs. If you do, the engine should have ran on the starting fluid. If no spark, check ignition module, magnetic pick up and coil. Good luck.
