Pleas type in the lower class.
Upper class is considered shouting hurts my eyes and ears to read it..
Make sure that new one is brand new not rebuilt.
Always check and drain compresser if it has any oil in it.
Rule of thumb is 2 oz oil for compresser and if system has leaked any oil add a little more oil for leakage.
Also 2 oz for the reciever /dryer when replacing.
But I would not go over 3- ozs for compresser and 2 for reciever dryer .
Use pag 150 ac oil.

prior to adding r134 refrigerant you must pump out all air from system...this may take a few hours as the oil must boil off the air it contains...you can recharge your system without doing this but risk damaging your new 500.oo compressor...as pag oil and air/moisture create acids....

Just curious-- why do you need a new pump?-- those V-5 compressors are pretty darn durable- but have a tendancy to leak at the body o-rings- and shaft seal-- both which are replaceable...

on this vehicle the plastic shoud is removed or damaged when the oil filter is serviced this then exposes the a/c compressor to road salts/water which then causes the pulley bearing to fail...
