92 accord lx 4cyl

my 92 accord has 71k original miles. when I crank her up it will run good for about 10 sec then the D4 light will appear and stay solid. If i just let it idle after about 1 minute the D4 will go off, then later 1 or 2 mins it will come back on again. Also during this time the dash diagram that shows the doors,truck, brake light is on, then it will go off.
I've removed the AT control unit and I noticed the R41 resister burnt. R42 looks like the same res. but looks ok. any ideal on the problem ?
