Life is good

with all of the problems going on in the world (stock market, new york ect) what is good in your life?? please try to look for something positve
for me this month has been very good.

this month i quit my bullshit job, new job at Subaurban Subaru,Mazda as a technition. got my certification test results back from the state makeing me a state master certified technition, signed up for the last 4 of my ase tests to make me ASE master ceritified auto tecnition, and im geting straight As in my night classes.

so im prety happy for a change :)

I just got 100% on my Math of Finance test and 98% on my Accounting test.

I'm passing calculus, I get to see another cousin married (w/in a 3 month period), and I have my new car to drive all about town. Oh, and I think I picked a college to transfer my community college credits to! :)

I'm one sexy bastard.

Just got a new kickass job, bought a block of land (no house yet:D), and looking to purchase a MY00 WRX... sweeeeeeet maaaaate:cool:

Only positive thing I can think of, I'm still alive.

I got a B on my last Calc quiz, and A on my Intro to Classical Music test, and I survived my Oral Communications group presentation! :)

What the hell are you taking that needs both calc and classical music?? :huh::huh:

Secondary Math Ed is my major, but I had to have a "humanities" course, and I thought I'd have an easy time in music. Well, Classical music is much harder than I thought. Memorizing all those songs with titles and composers, and facts about people... :thinkerg:

I may pass my Math Quiz tommorrow, that's good isn't it? BTW, Din't I already start this thread a while ago?

only like the top 2% of students at my school have averages over 90%

(while my average is in the 60s)

well quit being a lazy bastrd and do your work and your life will be perfect. i know that the consept of acculy doing your home work may be "forign" and maybe even scary to you but try it some time its not that bad

LOL, Olds, I have a friend who is exactly like you gan$tarr, he dosen't do homework, but has a "natural" thing so he still manages high 70's, I'm in the mid to high 80's right now but I'd like to be 90's so work for me. BTW, I do upwards of 2 hours of Math alone everyday! That isn't including Physics! Just worrk some then you'll notice a difference in understanding, also it is okay to flip out, I do it all the time at home, I shouldn't but it allows me to focus later on.

I just don't do the homework, and i fail classes... i gotta get my act together... i think it's time for a year without summer school :)

but i just can't get motivated, i look at the homework, then i look at the TV, and i'd rather watch TV... or i'd rather post on AF, i could always find something better to do

i think i have ADD or somethin, it's so hard to concentrate..... or maybe i just need more sleep, i only get like 5 hours of sleep a night

Me too, But's it because I'm doing homework 10 hours of the damn day! I know what you're feeling, I always want to be doing something else besides work, but as soon as I get settled for Math, I can go for hours wether it be on MSN with my friend or at a table, I'm like that for any subject. I just need to get in gear and then I'm off! Getting in gear is the hardest part, I always say to my self, 8:00, okay 8:15, OKay, 8:30, then after I waste about a half an hour, I say hey! I'm not going to get this done So I just get up and do it! It takes a lot of motivation and will power though.

i think i need more sleep though, i look at the teacher than like 5 minutes later i have no idea what he just said. It seems like i'm in a dream most of the day, i get so tired
or i'm watching the chalk board then i just drift off and a couple minutes later there's all this note on the board i haven't copied down yet :D

LOL, I guess if you need water at exactly 37.5 Degree s Farenheit! That is cool. You keeping up with me? Oh we can't stop now, I've racked up like 50 posts in the last half-hour, and tommorrow's friday, slacker day just sit around waiting for 3:10 (When I get out)

I'm not trying to brag or anything, but I seem to have that natural talent as well. I haven't done homework (aside from essays/projects) in literally years, and I didn't study AT ALL for either of those tests that I just got 100% and 98% on....

Natural here, too...

I hardly ever study or do homework, and with no effort churn out high C's... (and this is in classes like Calculus 1, where the prof takes points off for leaving out useless parentheses)

When I do even the slightest bit of work, I get easy B's. :)

I hate both of you!! :D
