cold engine misfire

ok, so recently, ive been having what feels like a misfire or wicked hesitation when i first start my car. it stops after warming up, and it also seems to stop once i get it over the 2.5k rpm range even before warm. it basically feels like tremondous boost lag, but it boosts jus fine. any ideas why this would occur? i have the same problem with mine i would also like to know what could cause this

Have you replaced the spark plug wires? The stock ones seem to "leak" current as they get older.
