just back the brakes off & ur drums will slide rite off....
it's amazing, even if the shoes r barely touching they can b hard 2 get off especially if u have a little lib on the outer edge of the drum.

Theres also a little slot on the back of the drums that you stick a screw driver through and turn a little gear to back off the shoes from the drum

Alot of drums also have a bolt hole on the front so you can run a bolt through and pop it off

you can also release the presure by cracking the bleeder screw cause you need to bleed them after you replace the brakes any way.
(the reason the drum seems to be welded is cause the shoe is sitting in the ridge on the drum not allowing you to pull it off)

i think u turn it in the downward motion.... just try it & turn the drum, if start to feel it draggin u know ur goin the wrong way. Also if u can c into the hole there is a plate that rests on the gear, turn the gear in the direction of the plate.

Words from a honda tech
Don't hit the drum, it will just warp it!
There are two holes on the hub of the drum, trighten evenly as possible two screws into these holes and the drum will pop off.
I now return you to your reguarly schedeled programming:D
